MILAN – The new season is on the horizon and will begin with a press conference at 17:00 CEST on 5 July, when, from the Inter HQ, CEO Sport Giuseppe Marotta and Coach Simone Inzaghi will give their thoughts. The following day, the team will reconvene at the Suning Training Centre in Appiano Gentile to start their preparations.
The Nerazzurri will take part in five friendly fixtures ahead of their first league match away to Lecce on 13 August.
The first is scheduled for 18:30 CEST on Tuesday 12 July against Lugano at the Cornaredo Stadium, now a traditional pre-season showdown. Match tickets can be purchased here: https://luga.ws/supercup2022.
Inter’s pre-season continues with a trio of meetings with Ligue 1 sides, kicking off on Saturday 16 July at the Stadio Paolo Mazza in Ferrara against Monaco. An away trip to France is in store on Saturday 23 July to face Lens, while the Orogel Stadium in Cesena will play host to Olympique Lyonnais one week later on 30 July.
The final fixture prior to the start of the league campaign is on Saturday 6 August in Pescara, where the Nerazzurri will come up against Villarreal.
