Andrea Ranocchia’s extraordinary acrobatic finish in the 91st minute of Inter’s last-16 Coppa Italia tie against Empoli has been voted the January Goal of the Month. The defender’s injury-time scissor kick sent the tie into extra time, before the Nerazzurri eventually ran out as 3-2 winners.
Ranocchia’s goal was selected from a shortlist of eight, including Alexis Sanchez’s winner against Juventus in the Italian Super Cup.
