Lassina Traore is the top goalscorer on six league goals, with a tally of nine in all competitions, including a brace in the 3-0 win in the Ukrainian Super Cup over Dynamo Kyiv, which allowed De Zerbi to get his hands on his first trophy since taking over the reins earlier this year.

The club’s route to the Champions League group stage included victory over Genk in the third qualifying round and getting the better of Monaco in the play-offs.

As mentioned in the Ukrainian outfit’s official report, in the final training session ahead of the game, three of De Zerbi’s players – Evgeny Konoplyanka, Valery Bondar and Georgy Sudakov – trained individually. Dentinho and Fernando are still recovering from injury.
